I've always stayed in a hotel, what am I to expect from a holiday home?

All our homes are self catering. Although the homes have the basic essentials such as cutlery, furniture, towels, cable etc... No food will be present on arrival and you will be responsible for cleaning up after yourself. Our team of specialists will visit to clean the pool and mow the lawn, but other than that you have a complete home from home experience.

Do I get to choose the exact home I will be staying in?

Yes. Give us the dates of your holiday via the Holiday Homes page and we'll provide you a list of available homes for you to choose from.

How close are the homes to attractions, restaurants, shops etc...?

On each property listing page we have included a google map link to the home to allow you to search the surrounding areas for attractions, restaurants, and anything else you may be interested in.

Do you allow pets?

No. Due to allergy suffers, no pets are allowed in any of our homes.

What happens when I find a home I'd like to book?

Email us via the contact us link displayed on each property listing page. An Acacia Holiday Home representative will pick up the email and contact you within 24 hours of receipt to answer any questions that you may have. Provided you are happy, will will then give you a call to arrange payment.

Do I need to bring towels and linens to the home?

No. We provide you with ample clean linens and towels. We do however suggest that you bring a beach towel for each member of your party though if you intend to visit the beach or any water-park whilst you are visiting Florida.

How do I check into the home?

Once we have received full payment from yourselves for the home, you will be sent directions and the necessary codes to the home.

Will there be food on arrival at the home?

Only if you request a welcome pack when booking your home. All inquires should be made when booking your home.

Do I need to clean the home?

All the homes are professionally cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival. There is a vacuum, mop and brush, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and dust pan in each of the homes to help you keep the home clean during your stay.

Can I smoke in the homes?

No. All our homes are non-smoking. Guests may smoke on the patio area outside provided all patio doors are closed, but absolutely no smoking is permitted within the homes.

If I have a problem with the home what do I do?

First read the welcome pack contained in each home, if no help is offered from the pack call our toll free number and follow the prompts to be connected to our on-call staff.

Can I use the telephone to ring friends and family back home?

Yes, but you will need to purchase a phone card. A phone card can be purchased from pretty much any grocery store or fuelling station. Please note that a phone card is not required when calling the Acacia Holiday Homes office.

What do we need to do at check out time?

We just ask that you lock up the home and place the key back into the lock box at the home, our staff will take care of the rest.
